06/07/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - French seeds Julien Benneteau and Richard Gasquet were among Monday's opening-round winners at the Aegon Championships, a grass-court Wimbledon tune-up.

The ninth-seeded Benneteau handled fellow Frenchman Arnaud Clement 6-2, 6-4, while an 11th-seeded Gasquet, a former French Open semifinalist, dismissed Japan's Kei Nishikori 6-3, 6-3 at The Queen's Club. Gasquet is a two-time Queen's Club quarterfinalist.

Twelfth-seeded Frenchman Michael Llodra also moved on, with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Andrey Golubev of Kazakhstan.

In other results involving seeds, No. 14 Israeli Dudi Sela overcame big- serving Aussie Chris Guccione 6-7 (4-7), 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 and No. 16 Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan erased Britain's Jamie Baker 6-1, 6-4.

Several other men advanced to the second round, including Americans Robby Ginepri and Jesse Levine and German Rainer Schuettler. Ginepri grounded Brit James Ward 6-3, 7-5, while Levine leveled fellow American Ryan Harrison 6-3, 6-3, and the former Aussie Open runner-up Schuettler shut down Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver 6-1, 6-2.

Also, American Taylor Dent succumbed to South African Kevin Anderson 6-7 (7-9), 6-3, 7-5.

Three matches were suspended because of rain on Monday, including ones for 13th-seeded Colombian Santiago Giraldo and unseeded American Mardy Fish.

British star Andy Murray, seeded third this week, beat American James Blake in last year's finale here. Murray's first opponent this week will be Spaniard Ivan Navarro.

This week's top seeds are French Open champion and new world No. 1 Rafael Nadal and Serbian star Novak Djokovic. Nadal was the Queen's Club champ in 2008.

The red-hot Nadal will open his stay here against Brazil's Marcos Daniel, a Day-1 victor. Nadal has won his last 22 matches, all on red clay, with titles coming in Monte Carlo, Rome, Madrid and Paris, where he just secured his fifth French Open title in six years.

Four-time champion Andy Roddick, seeded fourth, is also in the deep field this week.

MySportsbook.com week 1 NFL lines

Now that the 2008 NFL schedule is finally out, it is only matter-of-course for lines on “Week 1” to follow.  Of course MySportsbook.com is the first to churn out odds for the NFL’s inaugural week for the upcoming season.   Expect a lot of fireworks the first Thursday night of the season as the defending champion Indianapolis Colts face off against the surprise of the 2008 season, the New Orleans Saints.  These teams were ranked #1 and #3 in the NFL respectively a season ago so a high scoring affair could be in order.  As of now, the Colts will be giving 6 points to the Saints; keep in mind the Saints were one of the better road teams last season going 6-3 SU and 7-2 ATS.  The first Monday night of the season will again provide a “double feature”. Coming off a disappointing season, the Cincinnati Bengals will look to get back to playoffs and improve their public image as they take on the AFC North favorite Baltimore Ravens.  The second game features a couple of teams that haven’t had too much success recently but each could make some noise if the NFC is as weak as it was last year as the San Francisco 49ers host the Arizona Cardinals. The most interesting game of the opening week will feature the NFC champion Bears as they hit the road to take on the NFL’s top team during last year’s regular season, the San Diego Chargers.
